Adventurous students learn sustainable development techniques, biodiversity, human impacts on ecosystems,global impacts of tropical ecosystem depletion, organic farming,aquaponics/farming,
conservation policies, wildlife management, habitat rehabilitation & low carbon-footprint living practices.
Course Description
Gen Ed course, 2 weeks in
Costa Rica, after a 4 week online introduction. Students
examine how human values &
choices affect tropical
ecosystems & sustainability &
develop their own perspective
from experiences, culminating
in a final assignment & discussion after returning home.
